On March 18th, 2021 Motion No.3122 – “Création de structures d’hébergement pour hommes et garçons victimes de violence domestique” initially presented by Deputy Mr. Fernand KARTHAISER was put to vote in the Luxembourg Parliament.

CSV and ADR voted in favor of the Motion No.3122, Pirate Partei abstained from voting and Luxembourg government coalition DP, LSAP, déi gréng as well as another party déi lénk voted against the motion denying men, boys and fathers with children EQUAL TREATMENT and the same type of social services already available in Luxembourg to women, girls and mothers with children.

Copy of the Motion and more details (our letters) on the matter including how each of the Member of the Luxembourg Parliament voted can be found below in the “Bulleting de vote”. FAD has decided to reach out to Prime Minister and ask what he thinks of another performance of the his colleagues and unanimous vote of the government coalition. After all apparently gender equality is very important for DP, LSAP and déi gréng and we have been told they fight for it every day. Below you can find a link to the Letter to Prime Minister Xavier BETTEL sent on 8 April 2021.
