FAD – Fathers Against Discrimination a.s.b.l. has corresponded with Minister Taina BOFFERDING in charge of the Ministry of Equality between Women & Men on numerous occasions presenting questions associated with the Ministry’s activities. We have received two replies to our official letters:

Still, despite our efforts our questions remain unanswered. It is clear that the Ministry and Minister BOFFERDING need our support and encouragement to STOP focussing only on one gender group pushing for Gender Equality of Outcome and START promoting Gender Equality of Chance for all groups in our society. It is unquestionable that the only way to reach gender equality of chance at work is to have gender-parental equality at home. The Ministry of Equality between Women & Men should be a leading force behind this ambition. So far, this has not been the case.
FAD – Fathers Against Discrimination a.s.b.l. promotes gender equality of chance in all aspects of the Luxembourg society. We support the rights of men and women to equal parenthood and successful professional career. We address the importance of family values promoting the positive impact a full and healthy family has on the upbringing of children. We seek equal treatment of both parents during custody hearings in Luxembourg.
We ask for support and we reach out to all people of good will, especially to women of all ages, non-profit organizations, LGBTI, feminist groups, men, fathers and everyone who really cares for the well-being of the children. We encourage everyone to contact the Ministry of Equality between Women & Men and Minister Taina BOFFERDING to urge them to introduce approach to promote 50/50 Shared Parenting – Alternating Residence. WE CAN CHANGE THINGS WITH YOUR HELP.
